This simple exhibit which combined color and movement to
demonstrate bernoulli effects was constantly in
use. The aids noted that kids under about 8 tended
to just play with these and similar displays,
but most older kids at least discussed why they
thought things were reacting in certain ways.
For students who were not using printed study
guides, the museum aids and teachers were instrumental
in assisting with interpretation. Not too many
kids read past the first line or two of the signage. |
